Nathan Chandler wanted to sell his house so he posted some photos on Flickr. The star of the house was the kitchen. Why? This was no ordinary kitchen – the house itself was built in 1956 and the kitchen has since been untouched. It’s got a very vintage look and filled with retro appliances.

amazing tour of the kitchen and a historic walk-through!
This
kitchen is really one of a kind. Love the retro pink counter top and flooring
but my favorite bit is the mini bar area!
The little shelves by the window are perfect for small plants or other decorations.

Loving the retro metallic tissue boxes – just like a vintage diner!

Here’s
a look at the oven – very cute!

It
came with the instruction manual… no, instruction book! It’s awesome that they
used to make colorful books just to teach you how to use an appliance!

Old
school buttons for the stove top.

Here’s
the fridge. You’d have to be from a previous generation to remember a fridge
like this!

What’s
the strange looking contraption? It’s not a 1950’s robotic bin… if there is
such a thing.

It’s
the dishwasher! Complete with soap, totally unused!

So what do you
think? Would you like a cute retro kitchen like this? We think it’s adorable!
If you like this, share it with your friends today and share some of that
old-school love!
