At 56 years old, Kerstin Tristan is a proud mother and grandmother. But she has a passion that makes her stand out from the "typical" grandma: she is obsessed with the art of tattooing.
She is so committed to her look that she has spent a small fortune covering almost every inch of her skin.
Interestingly, she didn't always love body art.
In fact, she admitted that she used to hate tattoos and didn't get her very first one until 2015.
So, what changed her mind so suddenly? It was that first experience in 2015 that completely flipped her perspective on the entire process.
“I just wanted to try something new. We only live once, and I felt that at my age, I needed something real to happen,” she explained.
Since that first drop of ink in 2015, she has invested a total of 30,000 euros (roughly $32,000 USD) into her colorful collection.
Luckily, her bold choices have brought her a massive amount of love and support from people all over the world.
She now has over 190,000 followers on Instagram, and her TikTok videos have been watched by millions of curious fans.
She is definitely not shy about showing off her unique beauty, frequently posting photos of her fully decorated body.
But she wasn't always this colorful; ten years ago, she looked like a completely different person. She recently shared "before and after" photos to show the world how much she has changed.
The German influencer now features detailed artwork across her arms and legs, including a striking leopard print design on her shoulders. These are just a few pieces of the massive "puzzle" on her skin.
She is incredibly happy with how she looks now, saying, “When I look in the mirror, I see a beautiful meadow full of flowers that I just have to love.”
