What Happened After His Marine Died In War Hit Me Right In The Heart

In just a split second, his closest friend was lost forever. What awaits him is a rollercoaster ride of emotions, to put it gently.

 

The incredibly touching coming-of-age movie “Max” focuses on a military service dog whose handler, U.S. Marine Kyle Wincott, was killed in action in Afghanistan. Because of his deep relationship with Kyle and the grief he went through losing Kyle, Max cannot be paired with another Marine. Instead, he’s adopted by Kyle’s family. Kyle’s younger brother, Justin, must come to terms with the loss of his older brother while accepting this new family member. What follows is a topsy-turvy ride in which relationships are built and lost, priorities are defined and the true meaning of heroism is set.
